As we rolled out the new format of OPENS & ELITES for the 2024 season, we had numerous inquiries about the status of the local club series tournaments and whether those were still happening!
We are happy to announce that our former Maine director will still be holding some localized opens in the great state of MAINE for the 2024 season. Again, these will not be managed at the AFS level, but we love promoting Tin Rig tournaments! The schedule looks like this:

APRIL 20, 2024 – LITTLE OSSIPEE LAKE
7:30AM – 3:30PM
MAY 4, 2024 – LOVEWELL LAKE, FRYBURG
7:30AM – 3:30PM
JUNE 15, 2024 – TACOMA LAKE
7:30AM – 3:30PM
– All boats in the water by 7am.
– This is a solo or team 5 fish format.
– $80 per boat + $20 lunker pool
– Sponsored by Bagley Baits/Northland Tackle again this season!
